The mission of Wilkerson College Lodge is to foster a flame of brotherly love and friendship that will surpass all differences, envelope all similarities and consistently travel that level of time in search of how to make good men better. As speculative Masons, education will be our greatest tool, so as to instill in our future Masters qualities of leadership, responsibility and compassion.
In support of the mission statement that “education will be our greatest tool”, the Lodge schedules a guest speaker at each of its regular meetings. The Education Committee, with the approval of the Master, may invite distinguished speakers, either Freemasons or others, to make presentations on subjects of special interest to Freemasons. The topics need not be ones that contain Masonic information. The speakers are encouraged to prepare their presentations for audiences composed of Masonic members, their wives, and invited guests from the general public.
Lodge members live great distances from each other. Some live in other states. Wilkerson College Lodge is invited by other Lodges to use Lodge facilities as meeting places throughout the state. As a consequence, all members cannot be expected to attend every meeting.
The purpose of this section of Wilkerson College Lodge web site is to give a wider distribution of selected papers that have been presented to the Lodge. The text of these papers will be posted in links here so that all Lodge members, as well as other interested people, will be able to read and digest them.
